Exam Pattern Overview
The SSC CGL 2026 selection process comprises two stages:
📘 Tier-I Examination
- Mode: Online (Computer-Based Test)
- Total Questions: 100
- Total Marks: 200
- Duration: 60 Minutes
- Negative Marking: 0.50 Marks for each incorrect answer

- Negative Marking: Applicable as per SSC rules

⌨️ Data Entry Speed Test (DEST)
- Qualifying in nature.
- Typing/Data Entry Test conducted for specified posts.
- Candidates must achieve the prescribed speed as notified by SSC.
🧾 Document Verification
- Candidates qualifying Tier-II will be called for Document Verification.
- Original certificates and eligibility documents will be verified.
- Final selection will be based on merit and successful verification.
